Altitude and distance

Descent Trainer practises one rule. A pressurised aircraft usually loses 1,000 feet every 3 nautical miles. An unpressurised aircraft usually uses 5. You set the cruise altitude. The app drills the table from the top down to 1,000 feet.

What is in the app

3 times or 5 times

Switch on the front page. The stored range updates as soon as a cruise altitude is saved.

Train

See the pairs, hear them, or both. One voice for the run, or a new voice on each line. Pace and length are the same controls as the other TecAv trainers.

Nothing else

No procedures, no radio scripts, no profile list. The cruise altitude stays on this device.

iPad and tablet

On a tablet the descent graphic fills one side. The altitude card stays a card, not a stretched phone screen.
