This is the Terms of Use URL for TecAv Software apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play, including Time and Fuel Aviation, Barcode Ticket, Ops Normal Timer, and Ops Normal Timer Free.
Acceptance
By downloading or using TecAv Software applications (including Time and Fuel Aviation, Barcode Ticket, Ops Normal Timer, Ops Normal Timer Free, Mail Alert, and, when released, Time and Fuel Marine, Road, Drone and Agriculture) or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
Advisory tools only
Time and Fuel and related TecAv apps provide planning aids for fuel, duty time, routes, diversions, and situational awareness. They are not certified as a primary means of navigation, air traffic control, or operational dispatch, and they are not a certified EFB.
- Always verify results against your approved operations manuals, AFM / POH, current official aeronautical information, and company procedures.
- Map and satellite imagery are for general situational awareness and gross-error checks only. They must not be used as a primary navigation source.
- Sample aircraft templates, demo profiles, and imported third-party location data may be incomplete or incorrect. Locations must be verified before use in planning.
You remain solely responsible for flight planning, fuel decisions, duty compliance, and safe operation of the aircraft.
Barcode Ticket stores barcodes and QR codes on your devices. It is not a certified boarding-pass or ticketing system, and it is not a substitute for Apple Wallet or the issuer’s official app. You are responsible for confirming that a scanner accepts the code you show, and for complying with the ticket issuer’s terms. Only store tickets you are entitled to use.
Ops Normal Timer and Ops Normal Timer Free are watch reminders for Ops Normal calls. They are not a substitute for approved communications procedures or ATC instructions. The free edition is limited to three alerts per session and then asks you to purchase the full version.
Mail Alert is a planning and notification aid for stores that hold community mail. It is not a postal service and does not replace the store’s own procedures for handling mail.
No warranty
Apps and website content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law and other applicable law, TecAv Software is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or consequential loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the apps, maps, imported data, exports, or website content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Your responsibilities
- Keep backups of important profiles, days, trips, routes, and tickets (for example via
.tfxexport or a Barcode Ticket off-device backup). - Protect device access and any profile encryption passwords you set.
- Comply with applicable aviation regulations and your operator’s procedures.
- Do not misuse the apps to violate law or third-party rights (including map and data provider terms).
Third-party services and hardware
Optional integrations (map tiles, aviation data providers, Flux Drive accessories, EFB sharing targets) are provided by third parties. Their availability, accuracy, and terms are outside our control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest still applies. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
