Quickstart

Use this the first time you open Time and Fuel Aviation. Set the profile up properly before you trust the numbers.

  1. Install

Install Time and Fuel Aviation from the store, or from your company distribution.

  2. Get a profile

On Welcome: load the two demo profiles to learn the screens, import a company file from operations, unlock a company profile if your organisation provided one, or create a blank profile.

  3. Check aircraft building blocks

Open Profiles, then Aircraft. Check climb, cruise, approach, holding, and reserve figures against your aircraft and company numbers. Check the order of a normal flight, and alternate or diversion if you use them.

  4. Check duty

Open Profiles, then Duty. Enter your limits, rest, and standby if you use it. Ready-made templates are available where they match your operation.

  5. Locations

Add the airports you actually fly. Import from a colleague or download a region. Confirm each place on the map before you plan — unconfirmed places cannot be used.

  6. First day

Open Day Planner. Set sign-on (or airport arrival), add a sector, choose the aircraft, enter the route and fuel on board, and read the fuel and duty results. Green is a yes so far. Pink or red is not.
