This is the privacy policy page for Ops Normal Timer and Ops Normal Timer Free on the Apple App Store. The company policy that covers all TecAv apps is at tecav.com.au/privacy.html.

Summary

Ops Normal Timer does not collect or transmit personal data to TecAv Software. There is no sign-up, no account, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not sell personal information.

What data is stored, how, and why

The app stores the following locally on your Apple Watch (Apple Watch UserDefaults) so a session can run and resume after you close the app:

• Nominated minute — the report minute you set with the Digital Crown. Used only to calculate the next Ops Normal time in the clock you chose (UTC or local).
• Session start and end times — used to run the duty session and stop it when the session length elapses (full app) or after the third alert (free app).
• Settings you choose — report interval, session length (full app), early-warning lead, and alert time (UTC or Local). Used only to schedule local alerts and display the countdown.
• Free-edition limit flag (free app only) — a local yes/no so the “3 alerts” purchase screen can be shown again if you close the app after the third alert. Cleared when you tap OK or start a new session.

These values are written on the watch when you tap START, UPDATE, Set, or change a setting. They are not sent to TecAv Software or to any server we operate.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local time-sensitive alerts on your watch before each report. Notification content is the warning title and the next report time with a UTC or Local label, matching your Alert time setting. Delivery uses Apple’s on-device notification system. TecAv Software does not receive notification content or device tokens.

You can decline notifications. The timer and countdown still work; wrist alerts will not fire. You can change this later in the Watch app on iPhone.

What we do not do

• No analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs
• No cloud sync or TecAv accounts
• No third-party data sharing
• No location, contacts, photos, HealthKit, or microphone access

Third parties

Ops Normal Timer does not share user data with third parties. Opening Support, Privacy, or Terms from Settings loads this website in the browser on your paired iPhone; that visit may create ordinary web-server logs as described in the company Privacy Policy.

Retention and deletion

Data stays on the watch until you stop the session (clears the active session), change a setting (replaces that setting), delete the app from the watch, or erase the watch. There is no TecAv copy to delete. If you have emailed us a screenshot or description for support, ask support@tecav.com.au to delete that correspondence.

Children

Ops Normal Timer is intended for aviation professionals and adults. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
