This is the privacy policy page for Meal Ready on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The company policy that covers all TecAv apps is at tecav.com.au/privacy.html.

Summary

Meal Ready does not collect or transmit personal data to TecAv Software. There is no sign-up, no account, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not sell personal information. Tickets, book colours, and settings stay on your iPhone or iPad.

What data is stored, how, and why

The app stores the following locally on your device (the app’s UserDefaults / equivalent on-device preferences) so the board can resume after you close the app:

• Tickets on the board — letter, two-digit number, colour, and when each was added. Used only to draw the collection board.
• Book list — colour + letter pairs you set in Setup, so staff can add tickets that match the pads in the kitchen.
• Last number per book — so Counter can step from the previous ticket.
• Board title, add-row style, and attention sound — so Setup choices persist.

These values are written on the device when you add or remove a ticket or change Setup. They are not sent to TecAv Software or to any server we operate.

Screen mirroring

If you mirror the screen with AirPlay, a Smart TV’s built-in mirroring, or Chromecast, that session is handled by Apple, Google, or the TV maker — not by TecAv. We do not receive the mirrored picture. You can use Meal Ready without mirroring.

What we do not do

• No analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs
• No cloud sync or TecAv accounts
• No third-party data sharing
• No location, contacts, photos, camera, HealthKit, microphone, or account access

Third parties

Meal Ready does not share user data with third parties. Opening Support, Privacy, or Terms from the app loads this website in the browser; that visit may create ordinary web-server logs as described in the company Privacy Policy.

Retention and deletion

Data stays on the device until you remove tickets, change a setting, delete the app, or erase the device. There is no TecAv copy to delete. If you have emailed us a screenshot or description for support, ask support@tecav.com.au to delete that correspondence.

Children

Meal Ready is intended for adults running a kitchen or canteen display. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
